The system worked. Officials shut down a Newark airport terminal tonight over a security breach. Reuters reported: Terminal C at Newark International Airport near New York City was locked down on Sunday because of a security breach, CNN reported, citing the Transportation Security Administration. The terminal was being cleared and passengers were being rescreened, CNN said. North Jersey reported that police are looking for a man who walked from the public side to the sterile side of the terminal.
